Who I Am

I’m Diana John, a Certified Grief Coach with a deeply personal understanding of how suddenly loss can change everything.

After experiencing the deaths of several people dearest to me—including my mother, who had always been my safe space, and later my husband, who passed away suddenly just five months into our marriage—I found myself navigating one of the darkest periods of my life.

I wasn’t only grieving the people I loved. I was carrying shock, unanswered questions, a loss of safety, and the painful realization that I didn’t have the kind of space I desperately needed to simply be witnessed in my grief.

That experience changed me.

I learned that grief isn’t something we simply “get over.” Loss can affect our identity, relationships, sense of safety, and even how we imagine the future. And sometimes, what we need most isn’t someone trying to fix it—we need someone willing to sit beside us as we find our way through it.

That is the heart behind Diana John Coaching. I provide the safe, gentle, compassionate, and grounded support I once needed myself. My passion is helping people feel less alone in their grief while gently discovering what moving forward can look like when someone they love is no longer physically beside them.

What I Do

Grief Coaching

Compassionate One-on-One Support After Loss

Grief changes life in ways that can be difficult to explain to people who haven’t experienced it. You may be trying to function while carrying emotions that feel confusing, unpredictable, or overwhelming.

Through personalized one-on-one grief coaching, I provide a judgment-free space where you can talk honestly about your loss without being rushed, minimized, or pressured to “move on.”

Together, we can work toward:

● Understanding and processing the emotions surrounding your loss

● Finding greater emotional grounding and stability

● Making sense of the changes grief has created in your life

● Navigating shifts in relationships, routines, and identity

● Rebuilding your life at a pace that honors where you are

● Discovering meaning and possibilities for the life that remains

● There is no timeline you have to follow here. Your grief is uniquely yours, and my approach honors that.

How I Can Help

You may be surrounded by people who love you and still feel incredibly alone in your grief.

Maybe everyone else seems to have returned to normal while your entire world still feels different. Maybe you’re exhausted from trying to explain how you feel. Or perhaps you’re beginning to wonder who you are now and what life is supposed to look like after such a significant loss.

You deserve space for all of it.

Our work together can help you feel heard instead of hurried, validated instead of judged, and supported instead of alone.

You’ll gain greater understanding of what you’re experiencing emotionally and relationally, along with grounding tools to help you begin functioning again without the expectation that everything needs to be fixed.

Over time, we’ll gently explore what it means to rebuild your identity and create new meaning for your life—not by leaving your loved one or your grief behind, but by learning how to move forward while carrying both love and loss.

Moving forward does not mean forgetting. It means discovering how to keep living while honoring what—and who—will always matter.

You don’t have to navigate this chapter by yourself.

If you’re looking for a compassionate space where your grief can

simply be heard, honored, and understood, I’m here.
